Coastal500

Coastal 500 is a global network of local government leaders committed to sustaining coastal seas. For this project, I created a brand new site with a new brand identity. This site was made with the intention to hand it over to colleagues to make all future edits; it includes a photo and icon library, easy-to-populate forms with display styling built in, and translation services.

This project was completed in just a couple weeks with little starting content.

Easy-to-use Tools

For the membership page, I created a fool-proof form that can be easily populated by a Rare staff person with no web experience while maintaining website styling and image proportions.

Web Design

This website was fun to design. I created a new template on Wix that Rare will use for all new small one-off websites. Because this is international, I wanted to make the pages visual rather than relying on text to get the message to visitors.
